Board Positions

President (or Co-Presidents): Attends monthly meetings, serve as chief executive of the organization, appoint committee chairmen, attends Moreland School District President’s Council meetings and works directly with the school Principal and board members to achieve annual goals. The role of President may be shared by 2 members as Co-President.

Vice President: Shall act as an aide to the President and assume duties of the President when required. The Vice-President may serve as chairman of the nominating committee. The role of Vice-President may be shared by 2 members as Co-Vice President.

Secretary: Shall keep an accurate record of meetings, to be read and approved at subsequent meetings. The Secretary may provide information to the Principal for publication in the Payne newsletter or work as editor of the Home and School Club newsletter and may additionally provide all current Home and School Club information to the webmaster and social media coordinator for publication on the school website and social media pages.

Treasurer: Shall be responsible for the receipt and deposit of all funds for the Payne Home and School Club. With other team members, produce a proposed budget for the membership at the final general Home and School Club meeting of the school year for the subsequent school year and a final financial statement of the present school year membership at the first general Home and School Club meeting of the following school year.
